Contributor Guidelines
Sales Enablement PRO provides valuable, timely content on industry trends, best practices, news, and insights for the sales enablement community. To deliver resources that truly help advance the industry as a whole, Sales Enablement PRO utilizes expert-driven content from sales enablement professionals in the form of articles, podcasts, videos, reports, and tools. Contributing to Sales Enablement PRO offers a unique opportunity for professionals to engage with industry experts and peers to empower each other to do their best work.
ARTICLES:
Sales Enablement PRO is accepting articles in areas that you are passionate about. Topics should be relevant to an audience of sales enablement professionals, including best practices, emerging trends, industry news, and related opinions. The tone of all articles should be educational and professional.
- Sales Enablement PRO does not accept any content that is promotional or advertorial in nature, and all content should be vendor-agnostic.
- Articles should have a word count between 1,000-2,000 words and contain relevant images, videos, and hyperlinks.
- Articles should not be written in the first-person and avoid second-person when possible.
- All content received should be ready to publish – free of grammatical errors, including citations if necessary, etc. Articles that require heavy editing may be rejected.
- Articles should adhere to AP Style guidelines, with the following exceptions:
- Percentages can be noted using the symbol (%).
- Oxford comma is acceptable.
- All topics must be submitted to and approved by the editorial team prior to submitting the article.
- All content must be original and accurate. Contributors are responsible for ensuring the originality and accuracy of their articles.
- When possible, articles should include relevant samples and tools.
PUBLISH PROCESS: The editorial team will review all submissions and provide edits for style and format as needed. The team will notify contributors of any changes once the article has been accepted for publication.
PODCASTS
The editorial team would like to record conversational podcasts with you about your area of expertise. They will work with you to decide the topic that will be most relevant to the audience, and will interview you over the phone to create the podcast.
- Sales Enablement PRO does not pursue topics that are promotional or advertorial in nature and only publishes content that is vendor-agnostic.
- Podcasts will be between 15-20 minutes in length. The recording session will be 30 minutes in length to allow time to test audio and re-record portions if necessary.
- The tone is conversational and educational.
- Questions to guide the conversation will be provided at least 48 hours in advance to give the interviewee ample time to prepare talking points.
PUBLISH PROCESS: The final product will have minimal editing, so be prepared to speak about only what you would be comfortable with appearing in the podcast.
TOOLS
Do you have a template or tool that has been helpful in your sales enablement efforts? If you are willing to share a blank version of the template, and perhaps even some additional context around how you’ve used it to be successful — we’d love to share it with our members.
- All tools must be vendor-agnostic. Sales Enablement PRO does not publish tools that are promotional or advertorial in nature.
- Tools must not require sign-in to access.
- Content must not collect personal data from the user.
- Tools should be relevant to the professional needs of sales enablement pros.
- Tools must be accompanied by a description of what it is and why it is important. Descriptions should be a maximum of 300 words
